1) CALL TO ORDER

Present: Mr. Tieres Tavares, Mr. Charles Humphries, Ms. Kristen Adsit,
Ms. Abeer Jadallah, Ms. Nina Korman came in at 6:46 PM.
In Attendance:
Mr. Travis Kendall, Director, Planning and Zoning
Ms. Mariana Gracia, Secretary, Planning and Zoning

Applicant was not present. Motion to table item until next meeting
made by Ms. Kristen Adsit, Seconded by Mr. Tieres Tavares and the
Motion passed 4-0 – Ms. Nina Korman was not in yet.

1) Approval of Wednesday August 8th, 2018
Miami Shores Village Historic Preservation

Motion to approve the minutes of August 8, 2018 made by Mr.
Humphries, seconded by Ms. Jadallah and the vote was unanimous
in favor of the Motion.
5) DISCUSSION
The Board discussed with Staff the approval by Planning and Zoning
Board at 577 NE 96 Street. The Board asked questions as to the changes
that the Planning and Zoning Board made to the plans on the Historic
property renovations.
Ms. Nina Korman announced that she had found at the library a drawer
full of files most of which provide the supporting material for the list of
Historic Preservation list of properties. Staff pointed out that these would
have to be researched to reach a conclusion about their Historic
designation.
The Board requested a copy of the Code section regarding the Historic
Preservation.
6) NEXT REGULAR BOARD HEARING –October 15, 2018 at 6:30 P.M.
7) ADJOURNMENT
