1)CALL TO ORDER
1) Roll Call
Present: Ms. Kristen Adsit, Tieres Tavares, Charles Humphries, Ms. Abeer
Jadallah.
Ms. Nina Korman in at 6:55 PM.
Present:
Travis Kendall, Planning and Zoning Director
Mariana Gracia, Clerk
2) ACTION ITEMS: PUBLIC HEARINGS: NONE
A) CONTINUED ITEMS: N/A
B) MINUTES
1) Approval of June 25th, 2018
Motion to approve the minutes as amended by Ms. Adsit, seconded by Ms.
Jadallah and the Motion passed 4-0
C) TABLED ITEMS
D) 557 NE 96th Street
Staff gave a brief report of the application and expressed that Staff is not in
support of the application.
Mr. Victor Bruce gave an extensive presentation of the project being
proposed.
The Board expressed their disagreement with the item as proposed.
The Board asked questions and made comments.
The Board asked for samples of the material to be used for the Roof and the
proposed fence.
Motion for approval by Ms. Korman conditional on the materials to be
submitted, seconded by Ms. Jadallah and the vote was unanimous in favor of
the Motion.

E) NEW ITEMS

Staff gave a brief report of the application and expressed that Staff is not in
support of the application.
The Board asked questions and made comments about the scope of the
application as proposed.
Mr. Victor Bruce gave a brief presentation and made some changes to the
application as requested by the Board.
Discussion by the Board took place.
Motion to table until next meeting by Ms. Korman, seconded by Ms. Adsit
and the vote was unanimous in favor of the Motion.
3) DISCUSSION
The Board discussed the Annual Report due next month to Council September 4.
Ms. Korman will produce the report.
4) NEXT REGULAR BOARD HEARING –Thursday, September 20, 2018 at 6:30
PM.
5) ADJOURNMENT
Motion to Adjourn by Ms. Korman, seconded by Ms. Adsit and the vote was
unanimous in favor of the Motion.
