I) CALL TO ORDER
In attendance:
Mr. Travis Kendall, Director Planning and Zoning
Mariana Gracia, Clerk

Present: Mr. Tieres Tavares, Mr. Charles Humphries, Ms. Nina Korman.
Ms. Abeer Jadallah came in after new item was heard.
Absent: Ms. Kristen Adsit.

1) Approval of November 13th, 2017 Minutes.
Motion to approve Nove 13, 2017 Minutes with amendments by Ms. Nina Korman,
seconded by Mr. Charles Humphries and the Motion was approved 4-0.
III) TABLED ITEMS
1) None
IV) NEW ITEMS
1) HPB-3-26-18-02: 113NE 101st Street, (Owner/applicant) Gil and Deanna Green, ,
(Agent) None; Pursuant to Articles XI. Application for Certificate of Appropriateness.
Mr. Travis Kendall gave a brief introduction of the Application to the Board.
Jovanny from Isaacs Roofing was present and testified as to the material and color of the tile
they are going to use.
The Board asked questions regarding the mold resistance of this particular tile.
Motion to approve certificate of appropriateness by Ms. Nina Korman, seconded by Mr.
Charles Humphries and the Motion was approved 3-0

VII) DISCUSSION
The Board discussed at length the wish list for the designation of Properties to be Historic.
Ms. Korman passed out a couple of booklets about Historic properties for the Board to look at.
Discussion took place about the booklets.
Staff informed the Board that he had contacted the County for a list of the Historic designated
properties. The County advised that they did not keep a list. Miami Shores has a list of
properties.
Discussion took place at this time regarding what the County requires regarding these
properties.
The Board had a discussion about the last workshop that was cancelled.
Staff advised the Board as to why the workshop was cancelled.
The Board discussed at length the Board wishes to meet more frequently and to be more active.
The designation of Historic properties was discussed at length.
There was discussion about the items being put on the webpage.
The next meeting will be April 16, 2018 at 6:30 PM
