I) CALL TO ORDER
In attendance:
Mr. Travis Kendall, Director Planning and Zoning
Ms. Mariana Gracia, Clerk
1) Roll Call
Present: Ms. Abeer Jadallah, Mr. Tieres Tavares, Mr. Charles Humphries, Ms. Nina
Korman
Absent: Ms. Kristen Adsit
Each Board member gave a brief introduction about themselves.
2) Selection of new Chairmember
Motion to appoint Ms. Korman as Chair for the Board by Ms. Jadallah, seconded by Mr.
Humphries and the Motion passed 4-0.
II) BOARD MEMBER DISCLOSURES – No Board member disclosures.
III) SWEARING IN OF WITNESSES – There was no witnesses to swear in.

1) Approval of August 7th
Motion to approve the Minutes of August 7th by Ms. Korman, seconded by Ms. Jadallah
and the Motion passed 4-0.

IV) NEW ITEMS
1) HPB-17-11-13-01: 52 NE 98th Street, (Owner/applicant) Glenn S Amoruso, (Agent) None;
Pursuant to Articles XI. Application for Certificate of Appropriateness.
Mr. Travis Kendall gave a brief introduction of the Application to the Board.

The Applicant was not present. The Board agreed to proceed with the item. The Board
asked questions and made comments about the item.
Mr. Kendall stated that the addition was about 180 square feet side porch.
The Board asked questions. Mr. Kendall informed the Board about what will happen with
the Application if the Board approves. The Board asked about the driveway. There was
some discussion about the item.
Motion to approve per Staff’s recommendations by Ms. Korman, seconded by Mr.
Tavares and the Motion passed 4-0.

VIII) NEXT WORKSHOP – Set Date
a) Explanation of Sunshine Laws.
Mr. Kendall discussed this item briefly.
b) Discussion about the upcoming Zoning change
There was a brief description by Mr. Kendall of this change.
c) Changing of meeting time to 6:00 or 6:30
The Board set a date in January 8, 2018 at 6:30 for our next meeting.
