Meeting was called to order at 5:35 pm
November meeting minutes were approved
A. Pozzi -
• 2017 was a record year for revenue in both food and beverage and the golf course, even taking into
consideration the fact that we were closed for 10 days in the aftermath of I lurricane Inna.
Unfortunately, inflationary pressures are beginning to be felt and our expenses increased more than
our revenues for the year
■ We have benefited from the temporary closing of the Diplomat Country Club
• Weather has negatively affected the number of rounds of golf played during the month of January
New Business:
A. Pozzi
• Started plans to renovate the Clubhouse foyer and lobby including new furniture as well as wall and
window treatments
• We have scheduled a complimentary members only wine tasting for February 8"', Treasury Wine
Estates will be showcasing a selection of wines and the Chef will pair the wines with the appropriate
hors d' oeuvres
• The Country Club Advisory Board has been scheduled to present its Annual Report to the Village
Council on March 6, 2018 (board report template distributed to the board).
• Upcoming events: Valentines' Dinner on Wednesday February 14 with music and a complimentary
bottle of French sparkling wine for 2 with the purchase of 2 entrees, we also have The Valentine's
couples golf tournament which is scheduled for February l I "'
• There were over 60 participants in the 6 -6 -6 tournament which was held on January 28"'
M. Griffith -
• How many people attended the Brunch with Santa`?
• Everything turned out great for Bill's party
A. Pozzi There were about 17S people at the Brunch with Santa
M. Gallo
• The golf course is in great condition
• While playing golf, I have seen several dogs being walked
A. Pozzi
• Trespassing is always an issue
• If you see someone who does not belong on the course, please call the pro -shop

concerns

• Several new members joined to woman's golf association
• Tomorrow is the last day of the Wilcox tournament, in the finals it will be Mrs. Butts versus Ms.
Degwitz

• Working on the details for the St. Rose of Lima golf tournament which is scheduled for May I I
• Is there any way that the portable bars can accept credit cards?
A. Pozzi - Portable bars cannot take credit cards because of PCI compliance
P. Rajo
• Seth does a fantastic job
• The drop area on #2 is better than it was
• During the Fourbail tournament some of the tce markers were narrow and uneven
• Food and Beverage is awesome only one comment: ordered a charcuteric plate and it came with
only 2 pieces of toast
• Would like to organize a net and gross golf tournament for the Men's Golf Association
• Asking if the pro -shop can handle the signups for M.G.A. golf tournaments
• Should consider having more golf products with the logo

• The proshop can assist with the sign ups
• the MGA will have to handle the communication for the upcoming events
1-1. Orlin
• There is a lot of action at the courts in the afternoon with Miami Country Day and Cushman
• The ladies teams are doing well
• Purchased new furniture for the restrooms
A. Garcia
• There is a lot of positive feedback for the conditions of the golf course
• The 6 -6 -6 tournament had a very good turnout
• February I I is the couples tournament
R. Strickland Wine tasting email will go out tomorrow
The next meeting is scheduled for February 28
