Chairman Richard Fernandez disclosed he had visited Barry University Campus.

II) DISCUSSION
1) Barry University Campus Master Plan.
a) Building architecture.
b) Fencing.
c) Parking.
d) Street closures.
e) Site plan.
Ms. Sarah B. Harold gave brief background information of what had
transpired in the past few years. Ms. Harold gave an overview of their plans.
The Board spoke on the road closures being proposed in the master plan.
The Board had questions about studies done for the traffic flow. The Chair
requested complete fully dimensioned plans to allow a complete review.
Barry would come back with a site plan when they are ready. Barry
representatives spoke about what is being added and what they are going to
move.
2) Florida Friendly Landscaping, ground cover requirements.
Mr. Dacquisto provided information regarding Landscaping and a bit of a background
into landscaping in the code. Mr. Dacquisto went over the several code drafts staff
prepared to provide the Board a spectrum of options. The Board comments on
places that have a difficulty growing grass and getting some flexibility in these areas.
Look at the alternatives for these areas.
3) Front yard hedge height limits along high traffic streets, fence material and corner
plots.
