GAF produces a wide range of roof products for built-up and modified bitumen roofing systems. The modified bitumen products include both APP(Atactic Polypropylene)and SBS(Styrene Butadien Styrene) products in smooth, granule and fire rated versions. In addition GAF offers two ply modified systems to meet the demands for multilayer SBS modified specificatons. GAF products are distributed through a wide network of roofing wholesale distributors thoughout the South Florida area. The Technical Service Office is located in Wayne,New Jersey and can be contacted at 1-800-ROOF-411. GAF provides warranted sytstems over various insulated and non-insulated substrates, copies of which can be obtained from GAF and can be found in the Ruberoid Modified Bitumen Application and Specification manual published annually. The GAF Roof System Assemblies gave been extensively tested at Factory Mutual Research Corporation and Undrewriters Laboratories. Five classifications for assemblies are listed in the current U.L.Roofing Material Directory and the current Factory Mutual Approval Guide. GAF Modified Bitumen membranes have been tested in compliance with ASTM D-5147 test requirment. Test data is on file.
