RESOLUTION 2018 -02
2 A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF MIAMI SHORES VILLAGE,
3 FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING THE VILLAGE MANAGER TO EXECUTE THE
4 INTERGOVERNMENTAL AGREEMENT WITH MIAMI -DADE COUNTY TO
5 INITIATE 25 MPH SPEED LIMITS AND SIGNS IN APPROVED LOCATIONS
6 THROUGHOUT THE VILLAGE.

8 WHEREAS, Miami Shores Village wishes to install and maintain a designated 25 mph
9 speed limit within local municipal streets; and,
10 WHEREAS, Miami -Dade County requires Miami Shores Village to enter into an
11 Intergovernmental Agreement between Miami Shores Village and Miami -Dade County to allow
12 for the installation and maintenance of such 25 mph speed signs,

14 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE MIAMI SHORES VILLAGE
15 COUNCIL, that:
16 Section 1. The Village Manager is hereby authorized to take any and all steps necessary to
17 execute the applicable Intergovernmental Agreement in order to allow for the
18 installation and maintenance of 25 mph speed signs.
19 Section 2. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon adoption.
