Dear Ismael.
As we discussed by email Aug. 22"d, we are requesting the cancellation of building permit RC-3-
16-658 for our house at 30 NE 104th Street, Miami Shores.
When we lodged the application for this permit, we were working with an architect and general
contractor on a broad plan to improve our home, beginning with a roof replacement and the
installation of wind-storm-rated windows and doors and progressing to the remodeling of our
kitchen and relocation of our master bedroom/bathroom (located on the east side of the
house).
We completed the roof replacement and the doors and windows project under the relevant,
separate permits (as you will see in your records). However, not long after the completion of
the windows, we were given an opportunity to move to Paris, France, which we have taken. We
therefore no longer wish to proceed with the additional renovations as we have moved and are
in the process of selling our house at 104th St.
We would be grateful if you could assist us in cancelling this open permit and we would be
happy to arrange for someone to be present for an inspection of the property to ensure that
the work on the master bedroom, master bathroom, and kitchen was not attempted.
