The Pool Contractor dug past the depth of that drainfield for most of the pool, but left some of the 57 rock under the Sunledge and step area to reduce the amount of Shotcrete. Approximately -1/4's of the ledge and steps are on top of the old drainfield. The old drainage pipes were removed. The #57 rock along with the sand/rock mix was re- compacted after the reinforcing steel was removed.
