In the excavation, we have found an existing concrete footing with the following dimensions: 24" x 12" x 80', and after I made the inspection, I can certify that this element is in good condition. would recommend to not demolishing this footing and have given instructions to the contractor to drill and embedded minimum 6" into the footing a#5 rebar with epoxy product at every 48" O.C. Please advise if you would like to receive an updated drawing showing this modification.
