YOU ARE HEREBY NOTIFIED that an inspection of the above premises revealed that you have
violated the provisions of the Florida Building Code which have been adopted as the uniform
building code for Miami Shores Village, Florida or provisions of the Code of Miami-Dade County.
The building official has found work regulated by this code being performed in a manner
contrary to the provisions of this code that are dangerous or unsafe. Thereby the building
official has issue a stop work order for your project.
Type of Violation: BUILDING: 7 FOOT CBS WALL ON NORTH SIDE OF GARAGE.
Chapter: 1 Section 105.1 of: 2014 Florida Building Code
To wit: [A] 105.1 Required. Any owner or authorized agent who intends to construct, enlarge,
alter, repair, move, demolish, or change the occupancy of a building or structure, or to erect,
install, enlarge, alter, repair, remove, convert or replace any impact-resistant coverings,
electrical, gas, mechanical or plumbing system,the installation of which is regulated by this
code, or to cause any such work to be done, shall first make application to the building official
and obtain the required permit.
REQUIREMENTS FOR CORRECTION.
1. Submit permit application with all required documents and 2 sets of plans signed and sealed
by a Florida license engineer and or architect. The plans should comply with the requirements
of chapter 8-10 of the Miami Dade County Code, section 107 of the Florida Building Code, and
any other applicable codes and or ordinances.
2. Pay required permit fees.
Therefore,you are hereby directed that on or before Monday, May 8, 2017 you are to correct
said VIOLATION and NOTIFY THE UNDERSIGNED BUILDING INSPECTOR that the VIOLATION has
been corrected. Failure to make the correction(s) will result in one or more of the following
actions: Disconnect utilities services, initiation of an unsafe structures case requiring demolition
of the structure. Also, failure to comply with this notice may result in the department
withholding issuance of other permits to you, referral of this matter to the appropriate licensing
board or the filing of a lien against your property in the amount of any unpaid ticketing fines. In
accordance with the provisions of Section 8-17 of the Code of Miami-Dade County, you are also
responsible for the reasonable costs and expenses incurred by the Building Official in enforcing
the provisions of the Building Code.
In the event further clarification or assistance is required, please contact Ismael Naranjo, B.0 at
(305) 795-2204 between the hours of 8:30 A.M. and 5:00 PM. Except in the case of life-safety
hazards, you may be granted upon request an extension of time up to 90 days to correct the
violation provided your request is submitted prior to the expiration of this Notice of Violation
and enforcement costs incurred by the department to date are paid in full. To request an
extension, please contact the Building Department by telephone at (305) 795-2207 or by e-mail
to naranioi@miamishoresvillage.com.

YOU ARE HEREBY NOTIFIED that an inspection of the above premises revealed that
you have violated the provisions of the Florida Building Code which have been adopted
as the uniform building code for Miami Shores Village, Florida or provisions of the Code
of Miami-Dade County. The building official has found work regulated by this code being
performed in a manner contrary to the provisions of this code that are dangerous or
unsafe. Thereby the building official has issue a stop work order for your project.
Type of Violation: Failure to obtain Permits for concrete and paver walkway on the
side and back of property.
Chapter: 1, Section 105.1 of the 5th Edition, 2014 Florida Building Code and section
6-4 of the Miami. Shores Village Code of Ordinances.
To wit: [A] 105.1 Required. Any owner or authorized agent who intends to construct,
enlarge, alter, repair, move, demolish, or change the occupancy of a building or
structure, or to erect, install, enlarge, alter, repair, remove, convert or replace any

Sec. 6-4. - Permits—Application generally.
(a)
Required. No person shall erect or construct or proceed with the erection or
construction of any building or structure, nor add to, enlarge, move, improve,
alter, convert, extend or demolish any building or structure, or any group of
buildings and/or structures under one or joint ownership whether on one or more
lots or tracts of land; or cause the same to be done where the cost of the work is
$100.00 or more in value; and on any remodeling or alteration job of any value;
without first obtaining a permit therefor from the building department.
REQUIREMENTS FOR CORRECTION.

2. Request inspections as required under section 110.3 of the 2014 Florida Building
Code. Foundation and final.
Therefore, you are hereby directed that on or before Monday, March 27, 2017

property in the amount of any unpaid ticketing fines. In accordance with the provisions of

have violated the provisions of the Florida Building Code which have been adopted as the
uniform building code for Miami Shores Village, Florida or provisions of the Code of Miami-

To Witt: Failure to obtain permits for interior renovation.
REQUIREMENTS FOR CORRECTION
Provide plans with details and specifications as required under section 107 of the 5TH Edition of
the 2014 Florida Building Code, chapter 8-10 of the Miami Dade County Code and Miami
Shores Village Code of Ordinances. Obtain required permits for building, electrical and
mechanical and pass required inspections.
Therefore, you are hereby directed that on or before Wednesday, March 1, 2017
you are to correct said VIOLATION and NOTIFY THE UNDERSIGNED BUILDING
INSPECTOR that the VIOLATION has been corrected. Failure to make the correction(s) will
result in one or more of the following actions: Disconnect utilities services, issuance of a
ticket(s) in the amount of$500.00 or more, filing of a civil suit or criminal charges against you
or initiation of an unsafe structures case requiring demolition of the structure. Also, failure to
comply with this notice may result in the department withholding issuance of other permits to
you, referral of this matter to the appropriate licensing board or the filing of a lien against your
property in the amount of any unpaid ticketing fines. In accordance with the provisions of
Section 8-17 of the Code of Miami-Dade County, you are also responsible for the reasonable
costs and expenses incurred by the Building Official in enforcing the provisions of the Building
Code.
In the event further clarification or assistance is required, please contact Ismael Naranjo, B.O at
(305) 795-2204 between the hours of 8:30 A.M. and 5:00 PM. Except in the case of life-safety
hazards, you may be granted upon request an extension of time up to 90 days to correct the
