Dear Mr. Portuondo;
The following is being provided to clarify concerns related to the stripping-in of the metal drip edge atop the
Elastoflex SA P.
Per our conversation, it is our understanding that the metal drip edge flashing was placed after the Elastoflex
SA P in the field of the roof. The Elastoflex SA P was cleaned and primed with ASTM D 41 primer and allowed
to dry. A Six inch (6")wide piece of Elastoflex SA P was placed and heat welded to a thin bed of PG500 set on
top of the Elastoflex SA P.
Polyglass takes no exception to this installation. The condition of the installation of the products would not
have any adverse effects on our standard manufacturer's limited warranty for the product.
