as possible. My client is undergoing a hardship that involves both, personal issues and circumstantial
due to the complications this project has had. My client needs a place to stay with his family since all

Dear Mr. Naranjo,
I would like to request a Temporary CO to move to my house as soon as possible.
We have been working on our home renovation project for over 2,5 years now and after moving to 3
different temporary houses,this week we have been asked to leave our last rental home as they have
sold the property. They have requested us to leave immediately in order to fix the house before the
new owner comes in on January 1.
We have been under tremendous hardship because of the project delays and other personal matters.
Our hardship was made worse by health issues and hospitalizations on my family in the past weeks. My
wife had to be hospitalized to remove a skin cancer(melanoma),the same week she lost her left hand
finger movement due to a cut in her finger's nerve and tendon and underwent reparation surgery at
Mount Sinai Hospital in late November.
The inside of the house is finished and we would like to schedule TCO inspections for Electrical,
Plumbing, Building and Mechanical in order to be able to move in asap. We have a subcontractor
finalizing the septic tank installation today and will be subject to Health Department inspection
tomorrow.
We don't have anywhere else to go on Christmas week with my wife and two children. Edmundo Gerez
(Coco)was king enough to allow us to spend a few days in his apartment while he is away on vacation.
I respectfully request the TCO for the maximum allowed time of 90 days, hoping we will be able to
achieve final CO way before that.
We hereby hold harmless and release Miami Shores Village Building Department and Miami-Dade Fire
Department from any liability that may arise during the use of the designed areas in the aforementioned
facility while under the limitation of the Temporary Certificate of Occupancy.
We hereby certify that all means of egress shall be kept clean and accessible and that all life safety
systems will be maintained and operable at all times while the building is being occupied.
