In the kitchen areas the joists find deckiha.:. are so heavily dry rotted that I can force my finger completely thP91ig1; the..... plywood. The roofing paper in this area has completely rotted and hangs f rti the floor joists. The common framed roof does not appear to be bea bathroom/kitchen partitions. n on the interior All the plywood decking must be removed and replaced. The master bedroom furniture, bathroom fixtures and kitchen equipment, cabinets, and islands must be removed. Floor tile, subflooring and plywood decking must be removed and replaced. While the joists are exposed, all joists should be thoroughly checked for dry rot. Additional 2 x 8's should be sistered to damaged joists before the new floor is installed.
