R-1167-09 RESOLUTION NO. 1167-09
A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI SHORES VILLAGE COUNCIL, MIAMI SHORES VILLAGE,
FLORIDA,TENTATIVELY ADOPTING THE FISCAL YEAR 2009-2010 BUDGETS,SETTING
THE TIME, DATE AND PLACE OF THE SECOND OF TWO PUBLIC HEARINGS TO
DISCUSS THE AD VALOREM TAX LEVIES AND CORRESPONDING BUDGETS,AND
PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS,the Miami Shores Village Council has reviewed the estimated revenues and projected
expenditure requirements for the fiscal year beginning October 1,2009; and,
WHEREAS,the Village Council on Tuesday,September 8,2009 held the first of two public hearings
prescribed by Florida State Statute 200.065;and,
WHEREAS,the Village Council has tentatively set forth the appropriations and revenue estimates
for the Budget for Fiscal Year 2009-2010 in the amount of$21,792,128.
NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MIAMI SHORES VILLAGE COUNCIL that:
Section 1. The Fiscal Year 2009-2010 Budget is hereby tentatively adopted.
Section 2. The Village Council will conduct the final public hearing on the Proposed Budget and
corresponding ad valorem tax levies at 7:00 PM on Tuesday,September 22,2009 in the Miami Shores
Village Council Chambers, 10050 N.E.2nd Avenue, Miami Shores, Florida.
Section 3. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a Public Hearing this 8th day of September, 2009.
